The Blue Ridge Parkway
The Blue Ridge Parkway which runs 469 miles through Virginia and North Carolina is called America’s Favorite Drive for a reason. Autumn fall color are spectacular there. Here are a few recent uploads of Autumn pictures from the Blue Ridge Mountains / Parkway.
Going south on the Parkway from Asheville, North Carolina takes you through a part of the parkway that is in higher elevations The fall colors change here first.
The Beauty of Autumn Sunsets
And here is another spectacular Autumn sunset seen along the Blue Ridge Parkway in the higher elevations. This was photo was taken in stormy foggy conditions.
Graveyard Fields
And last but not least is a photo of Graveyard Fields which is also in the higher elevations of the parkway south of Asheville, North Carolina. Graveyard Fields is one of the most popular destinations during the autumn season of fall colors. The blazing yellows, oranges, and reds in this photo show why.
